Is every jet a corporate jet if you’re the airline’s CEO?
Maybe not, but according to Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly “every seat is a great seat” on a Southwest flight. And it seems like he really believes it.
I caught up with #SouthwestAirlines CEO @gary_kelly after our flight back from ATL and asked him about flying like the rest of us. Hear what he had to say: https://t.co/IK91AxXmXM pic.twitter.com/C74CICXYOQ— Tom Fox (@TomFoxPhoto) November 14, 2017
Kelly put his money where his seat is when he was spotted by two Dallas Morning News photographers flying back from a Monday night Dallas Cowboys game.
According to the photographers, Kelly did not priority board or take a seat upgrade. He sat in the back of the plane, chatted with fellow fliers and posed for pictures with employees.
The Dallas Morning News reports that Kelly is the 31st highest paid executive in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and made more than $6 million last year.
