Super Bowl teams hail from patriotic areas

With the acts by some of the NFL players to choose not to recognize the national anthem, I find it ironic when you consider the area from which the challengers for the Super Bowl come.

The almost perennial Patriots are from the New England area that gave us “The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere,” an initial action in our nation’s quest for freedom from English tyranny. And the Eagles’ home city, Philadelphia, gave us the Declaration of Independence. It’s almost as if the outcome was a clear message of hope for the nation.
