Welcome to The Podcast on the Plains, SEC Country’s daily Auburn football podcast with host Zac Blackerby. On the show Tuesday, Blackerby is joined by ESPN 106.7’s Noah Gardner. On episode 103 of the show, the guys discuss two announcements regarding Auburn players forgoing their senior seasons. Auburn running back Kerryon Johnson and cornerback Carlton Davis announced that they will enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

  • Start of the show: The guys talk about Johnson’s decision to enter the NFL draft. His value will be interesting to follow as to what round he will be drafted. He will be competing with a bunch of very talented running backs in the 2018 NFL Draft class. The experts also talk about Auburn’s running back situation moving forward.
  • 13-minute mark: Auburn’s Davis also had a tremendous season. His statement announcing his decision was great and showed class.
  • End of the show: Former Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson is now coaching high school football.
