Mark D. Wilson is a breaking news reporter for the Austin American-Statesman. Formerly the criminal justice and public safety reporter for the San Antonio Express-News, Mark also was a staff writer for the weekly bilingual publication Conexión and for the weekly Southside Reporter. Mark is a graduate of Texas State University, where he served as a news reporter and entertainment section editor for The University Star and was recognized by the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association in 2012 for feature writing and contributions to an investigative series.
