UPDATE: Suspect in abduction of children, woman’s death in Round Rock still at large


10:50 p.m. update: Round Rock police say a man involved in the abduction of two children from Round Rock is also a person of interest in a suspicious death on Sunday.

Authorities responded Sunday to a welfare call in the 2600 block of Leslie Court in Round Rock and found a woman dead inside the residence, police said.

Terry Allen Miles, 44, is a person of interest in the suspicious death, authorities said. He has also been tied to the abduction of two children, 14-year-old Lilianas Griffith and 7-year-old Luluvioletta Bandera-Margaret, who are believed to be in danger, police said.

Miles was last seen Dec. 30 and could be heading to Louisiana in a gray Hyundai Accent with Texas license plate JGH9845, police said. The hatchback has a white sticker in the upper right corner of the rear window, authorities said.

Earlier: An Amber Alert has been issued Sunday night after two children were reported missing from Round Rock and are believed to be in danger, authorities said.

Fourteen-year-old Lilianas Griffith and 7-year-old Luluvioletta Bandera-Margaret are believed to have been abducted, Round Rock police said.

Griffith is described as a white female about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with light brown hair and brown eyes. She has a nose stud on the right side and braces. Bandera-Margaret is described as a white female about 4-foot-5 and 75 pounds with curly brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities are searching for 44-year-old Terry Miles in connection to the abduction, police said. He is described as being 6-foot-2 and about 200 pounds with brown hair, hazel eyes and a beard. Police said Miles wears glasses. He is driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent with Texas license plate JGH9845.

Miles was last seen Dec. 30, authorities said.
