2 hospitalized after multi-vehicle crash on Bee Caves Road in western Travis County 


Two people were injured Wednesday evening in a multi-vehicle crash in western Travis County, Austin-Travis County EMS said.

Medics responded at 4:26 p.m. to the crash on Bee Caves Road and Weston Lane and said as many as four to six vehicles were involved.

At least two vehicles had people pinned inside, EMS officials said. Two victims, a woman in her 20s and a woman in her 40s, have been declared trauma alerts and were taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, medics said.

Four people refused treatment on the scene.

Bee Caves Road was shut down in both directions at Weston Lane due to the crash, officials said.
