Stabbing reported in East Austin


A person with a minor stab wound was taken to the hospital, and police have a suspect in custody after a stabbing Friday night in East Austin, Austin police said.

Police responded around 9 p.m. to the 800 block of East 14th Street. The person’s injuries are not expected to be life-threatening, police said.

Details about how the stabbing happened were not immediately available.
