Austin police are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspect in a fatal North Austin shooting.

Police on Wednesday released photos of Jose Medel Martinez Lopez, 35, who is accused of killing Jose Pedro Dominguez-Campos Sunday after an argument about moving a vehicle out of the driveway.

Police said Martinez-Lopez is armed and dangerous.

He is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 200 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He was last scene leaving a home in the 900 block of Bird Creek Drive near Lamar Boulevard and Rundberg Lane in a gray Nissan Maxima with the license plate BHY-1689.

Martinez-Lopez has ties in Leander and San Antonio, police said.

Police asked for anyone with information about his whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477. Tips can be made anonymously and a reward of up to $1,000 could be paid for information leading to Lopez’s arrest.

Lopez has been charged with murder.
