The state of Florida takes three spots in a recent Top 10 list compiled by Smart Asset, while Texas takes two.
The financial technology company put San Antonio at No. 7 and Dallas at No. 9.
The top three were: Orlando, Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale. Florida’s other city on the list, Tampa, came in at No. 8, while Nevada had Reno at No. 4.
Albuquerque (5), Phoenix (6) and Salt Lake City (10) rounded out the Top 10.
SmartAsset “looked at the cost of hotels, flights, car rentals and meals for a family of four” in 48 cities and came to the conclusion that a weekend getaway for a family of four would cost $2,226 in Orlando and $2,627 in San Antonio.
A similar look at the numbers for individuals rounds up a similar group of cities, with Dallas and Salt Lake City falling out of the Top 10 and Tucson and Jacksonville FL climbing in.
