A Wells Fargo bank was reported robbed in North Austin on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The bank is in the 11200 block of Interstate 35, near Braker Lane, Austin police said. Officers got the call at 4:28 p.m.

No one was injured, police said.

The robber walked into the bank and presented a note to a bank employee, demanding money, police said. He did not show a weapon. He was given cash, and he left on foot.

Officers who responded to the scene weren’t able to find him after he left, police said.

Several bank employees and customers witnessed the robbery, and police investigators spoke with them Wednesday to get a description of the robber, police said.

This is the 16th bank robbery in Austin this year, police said.

Anyone who can identify the robber is eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if an anonymous tip leads to the man’s arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477 or download the Crime Stoppers tip app called “P3 tips.”
