A 26-year-old was arrested Thursday night in New Braunfels in connection with a shooting that left one man seriously injured, New Braunfels police said.
Michael Medina, who is from New Braunfels, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
Police received reports of the shooting at 11:20 p.m. to a house in the 100 block of Caddell Lane.
When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Medics took him to the San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious injuries, police sad.
Authorities said Medina was taken into custody on the scene, and upon questioning, determined that he and the victim had been arguing before Medina shot him, police said.
Medina was booked into the Comal County Jail on Friday, but bail has not been set, records show. Police said further charges could be pending.
