UPDATE: Teens that escaped Wilco detention center are in custody, sheriff says


12:30 p.m. update: The three teenagers that escaped a juvenile detention center in Georgetown Saturday morning are all in custody, Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody said on Twitter.

Earlier: Law enforcement officers are searching for three teenagers who escaped Saturday morning from a juvenile detention center in Georgetown, Williamson County sheriff Robert Chody said on Twitter.

Sheriff’s officials said the the 16-year-olds escaped from the Williamson County Juvenile Detention Center at 200 Wilco Way and were last seen headed to Quail Valley area of Georgetown.

Two of them were wearing gray sweat suit tops and bottoms, and one was wearing khaki pants and a gray sweatshirt, Chody said.

The teenagers had been charged individual with possession of dangerous drugs and evading, aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Chody said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
