Elementary school gets a makeover


About 550 volunteers of all ages from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints got together Saturday to provide an interior and exterior makeover at Winn Elementary School. Ten congregations took part in the event, which included donations of $2,811, plus a couple pallets of school supplies, a mural, furniture, trees and gift cards.
