BANK ROBBERY: Man robbed Wells Fargo branch in North Austin, police say

Austin police are looking for a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo bank in North Austin on Wednesday. 

Police say the man entered the Wells Fargo branch at the 11200 block of North Interstate 35 about 4:28 p.m. and passed a note to the teller demanding money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. No one was reported injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s or 50s, between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-10 tall, and having a thin build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, a grey hat, blue jeans, black shoes and eye glasses, police said.
