Report: Austin is the Texas city with the most million-dollar homes


Looking to drop a million dollars on a home? You’re living in the right city.

According to a new LendingTree report, Austin is the Texas city boasting the most million-dollar homes. Of all the homes in Austin 2.16 percent, the eleventh-highest percentage in the country, are valued at or over a million dollars. According to the list, Austin’s median home price, however, is a much more reasonable $282,000. 

Houston had the second-most million-dollar homes in Texas, followed by Dallas and then San Antonio.

San Jose, California, where 53.81 percent of homes are valued at or over a million dollars, ranked No. 1 in the country. The median home price in San Jose is $1,069,000. After San Jose, the most million-dollar homes can be found in San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

In compiling the report LendingTree looked at home value data pulled in June.
