SXSW 2018: What’s that huge dome in downtown Austin?

There’s something happening in downtown Austin.

Yeah, yeah, it’s South by Southwestwe knowWe’ve heard. So, it’s no surprise there are massive mysterious structures popping up around the city, with little explanation as to what they are, how they got there or what happens inside.

There’s a giant dome at Fourth and Brazos streets, spotted by Austinite David Busch on Twitter.

He spotted it around 9 a.m. Wednesday on his way to work, and by the time he went to lunch, it was finished -- and branded.

Apparently the dome is sponsored by Under Armour, and it offers users the experience to find out “what zero gravity really feels like.”

It’s open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and will feature various special events and private parties

How to make a snack necklace for a beer festival or football tailgate

I saw a clever snack hack on the internet the other day. A wine that old is always a risky pick, especially considering my less-than-ideal cellar conditions. And this wasn’t an age-worthy red Bordeaux or a sturdy cabernet. It was a white...
