SXSW 2018: ‘She Shreds’ show moved to Sahara Lounge after alleged noise permitting issue


According to Facebook posts, the “She Shreds” unofficial South by Southwest event originally slotted to go down at Kinda Tropical on Tuesday has been moved to The Sahara Lounge.

The posts in the Facebook event claim the event was shut down due to the venue not having a noise permit.

Hinds, Speedy Ortiz, La Luz, Shamir, Shopping, Snail Mail and more artists are slated to perform at the event, which showcases female and nonbinary identifying musicians.
