Actor/director/activist/colorful personality Sean Penn is coming to Austin to chat with historian Douglas Brinkley about Penn’s debut novel “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff.”
They will be talking about the book and probably some other things (Penn’s Oscars, his blend of activism and journalism, not finding Chris Rock’s 2005 Oscars joke about Jude Law funny) 7 p.m. April 3 at the Central Presbyterian Church (even though this is a BookPeople event).
Tickets are available now and can be purchased here.
Tickets are only available via Brown Paper Tickets. They are not available at BookPeople. One ticket is $28 (plus service fee) and includes one copy of “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff” with a signed book plate. Each ticket admits ONE person to the Central Presbyterian Church for this event. Seating is general admission; first come, first served.
Please note: Tickets will be processed by Brown Paper Tickets, not BookPeople. If you purchase a ticket and cannot attend the event, BookPeople will hold a copy of “Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff” for you at BookPeople for 30 days after the date of the event. You may not pick up the book in advance of the event.
