There’s a Beyoncé-themed brunch in Austin this weekend

Do you like brunch? You love it. Do you like cocktails? You live in Austin; you are half human, half cocktail. Do you like Beyoncé? You are legally obligated to pay fealty to our nation’s monarch, yes.

All of these things that you love will combine to form a zeitgeisty Voltron on Saturday, when downtown Austin restaurant Trace hosts its second-annual Bee-yoncé Brunch. The event, set for 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., takes place on National Honeybee Day and fittingly benefits SFC Bee Education, according to a news release.

A themed brunch is not really a themed brunch unless there are themed drinks, and Trace is coming in clutch with the Spilled Tea, Rose One Drunk In Love and a boozy milkshake called Sorry I Ain’t Sorry. DJ Kid Slyce will be spinning Bey jams during the brunch.

You can make reservations on Trace’s website.
