Three low-water crossings are closed in Round Rock, city officials said, and crews are responding to any issues that are reported as daylight breaks.
The main issue overnight was debris from trees, said Will Hampton, the communications director for the city.
He said floodgates are closed at Harrell Parkway, Old Bowman Road and Lee Street. As of 6:30 a.m., waterways were able to handle the rain and any runoff.
Officials urge residents to call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 512-218-5500 to report issues such as debris in streets or flooding.
Residents can report power outages and see estimated restoration times at the Oncor webpage.
