Donald Trump's childhood digs now available to rent on Airbnb

Looking for a rental home? Now you can stay at Donald Trump's place.

No, not 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. - but Trump's childhood home in Queens, New York, now available on Airbnb.

Trump's father Fred built the 5-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath home, dubbed "Jamaica Estates." The circa 1940 Tudor-style house is available for $725 a night. "Not much has been changed since the Trumps lived here," the listing reads. "The kitchen is original and the opulent furnishings represent the style and affluence in which the Trumps would have lived. This is a unique and special opportunity to stay in the home of a sitting president."

The listing boasts an amenity you probably won't find anywhere else: a giant cut out of the president in the living room, "a great companion for watching Fox News late into the night."

She discussed the toilet, which requires vigorous hand-pumping...

Fall day trip: A bike ride between two Minnesota icons

Someday the Gitchi-Gami State Trail might extend 89 miles along Minnesota’s North Shore from Two Harbors to Grand Marais — a cyclist’s answer to the 310-mile Superior Hiking Trail.  Until that utopian vision comes to pass, the paved bike trail exists in only a few short segments. The highlight so far may be the 7 or 8 miles between...

There are fish sandwiches, and then there is the fish and chips sandwich at the Boathouse, an all-day counter service spot tucked into a former boathouse at the Suttle Lodge, a magisterial 1930s-era property located in central Oregon’s Deschutes National Forest. A brawny trout filet is encrusted in pulverized Kettle brand potato chips, fried...
