A 1992 graduate of The University of Texas, Jason Jarrett has spent more than 20 years in the journalism field. He is the sports editor of the Austin American-Statesman. Jason also oversees the day-to-day operations of the sports sections of six weekly and semi-weekly newspapers in the greater Austin area. He previously spent 14 years as the publisher of the Westlake Picayune.
