Von Miller’s ‘three-pump’ celebration fine paid by stars of Key & Peele


Von Miller sacks quarterbacks. A lot. And he dances after he sacks them. A lot.

He gets inspiration from everywhere, including the popular sketch show Key & Peele, which ran for a few highly successful seasons during Miller’s time at Texas A&M and early in his Broncos career.

Miller made a habit of imitating the celebration from one of Key & Peele’s top sketches.

However, just as in the sketch, Miller was flagged and disciplined by the NFL, earning a fine of $11,567.

But fear not, as co-creator Keegan Michael Key told The Dan Patrick Show on Thursday, he and his partner Jordan Peele came to Miller’s side to help pay the fine. Take a look below:

And while according to Pro Football Talk, NFL players can’t have their fines paid for them directly, Key and Peele teamed up to make a $15,000 total ($7,500 each) donation to Miller’s charity as appreciation for him showing them love.

“Good guy Von Miller, great form,” Key said on the show.
