Lane Kiffin chimes in on Tennessee hiring Jeremy Pruitt

Lane Kiffin spent the last few weeks trolling Tennessee fans at nearly every opportunity, but he was also among the many applauding the Vols’ hiring of Jeremy Pruitt on Thursday.

Kiffin sent out this Tweet shortly after it became official:

Go win it all. Congrats Jeremy. Home run hire!!! @espn @VFL_Athletics @SECNetwork @UA_Athletics @phillipfulmer @finebaum https://t.co/zGzEdyy29H

— Lane Kiffin (@Lane_Kiffin) December 7, 2017

Pruitt and Kiffin worked together as Nick Saban’s coordinators in 2016. The duo, combined with Saban’s leadership and recruiting prowess, lead the Crimson Tide to the College Football Playoff.

Kiffin ultimately took the head coach job at Florida Atlantic and did not finish the season with Alabama. The Crimson Tide lost to Clemson in the National Championship.

With endorsements from both Saban and Kiffin, the future in Knoxville sure looks bright.
