Round Rock Express game with Colorado Springs postponed

Tuesday’s game between the Round Rock Express and Colorado Spring Sky Sox was postponed due to wet grounds after heavy rainfall in the afternoon.

The teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday at Security Service Field in Colorado Springs, Colo. to make up for the postponement. Both games will be seven innings with the first scheduled for a 5 p.m. first pitch. The second game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.

Tyler Wagner (3-9, 6.46) will get the start for Round Rock (54-61) while Paolo Espino (4-1, 3.72) will take the mound for Colorado Springs (68-44).

The Express are on the road until Aug. 19. After the series with Colorado Springs, they’ll travel to Oklahoma City and then New Orleans.
