After winning the Big 12 outdoor track team title on Sunday to go with its 2013 indoor crown in February, the Longhorn men’s team has claimed two more individual honors.
Coach Bubba Thornton was named Big 12 outdoor coach of the year by the league. Also, Johannes Hock, who broke the meet and school records with 8,293 points in the decathlon, was named the conference’s outdoor male freshman of the year.
