One question I get – and I get it a lot – is simple: Where can I take my kids and grand kids fishing if I don’t own a boat?
That might seem a tough question to answer because public access to larger lakes is so limited, but cities, counties and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department have developed a network of community fishing lakes and neighborhood fishing lakes that can offer a surprisingly good fishing experience.
