The Texas State women’s golf team couldn’t overcome a poor first round, finishing a disappointing third in the WAC championships this week in Mesa, Ariz.
The Bobcats played their best golf in the final round of the 54-hole event to vault past UTSA into third place, finishing at 40-over-par 904, 22 strokes behind champion Denver (18-over 882) and San Jose State (30-over 994).
