With Austin’s inaugural MotoGP race a month away, the rift between the Circuit of the Americas and motorcycling legend Kevin Schwantz only appears to be widening.
Schwantz, motorcycling’s 1993 world champion, said circuit officials tried to give him the boot last week when he attended a private testing session for several MotoGP teams. Various accounts of the incident have appeared on websites, and on Wednesday, Schwantz issued a statement about the incident.
