It was a disappointing day for the Texans riding in Sunday’s MotoGP race: Ignite Pramac Racing’s Ben Spies and Colin Edwards of NGM Mobile Forward Racing.
Spies, who has not fully recovered from a crash at last year’s Malaysian Grand Prix, said he had a problem with a nerve in his chest that caused him severe pain Sunday. He finished 13th, good for three points in the championship.
