The newest member of the team trying to bring Formula One to New Jersey said despite considerable skepticism, the race “absolutely” will happen next year and will be a boon to the United States Grand Prix rather than a drain on the F1 event southeast of Austin.
“It’s going to increase the awareness of Formula One in this country and will be very positive, in my mind,” Chris Pook said in a phone conversation with the American-Statesman.
