When the Big 12 released its 2013 football schedule this past November, the Nov. 15-17 weekend — which brings both the Texas-Oklahoma State football game and the U.S. Grand Prix to Austin — was an immediate focus of concern and controversy. That potential lodging and logistical nightmare still looms, but a similar scheduling conflict on Sept. 20-22 shapes up as problematic, too.
