She arrived in 2009 as perhaps the most ballyhooed sprint recruit for a Longhorns women’s track program that’s renowned for them. At the time, Chalonda Goodman was described by then-coach Bev Kearney as a “game changer.”
Unfortunately for Goodman, injuries certainly changed the game for her. And now she has only one collegiate meet left — this week’s NCAA outdoor championships — to recapture the way she was.
