Pflugerville cornerback Clarence Guidry was ejected after colliding with Bowie wide receiver Jake Walton on Friday night at Burger Stadium.
Guidry was flagged for “targeting” the receiver, an offense that carries a 15-yard penalty and a red card out of the game. The decision was swift and emphatic. Neither Guidry nor the Pflugerville coaching staff had grounds to appeal the call in the second half of Bowie’s 42-14 victory.
