It took a second-half comeback, but the Cedar Park girls soccer team rallied back to defend its Class 4A Region IV crown and booked another trip to the state tournament with a 4-2 win against Alamo Heights.
“We didn’t put our heads down, because we knew we could come back and still win it,” Cedar Park senior Kayci Griffin said. “Last year our goal was to make it state; this year it’s our goal to win state.”
