Before Georgetown can take the final step toward becoming one of the elite Class 4A football teams in Texas, the Eagles must prove they’re No. 1 in their own district.
Last season, Georgetown was 15-0 before losing to Denton Guyer 48-37 in the 4A Division I championship game at Cowboys Stadium. Off to a 3-0 start this year, the Eagles again aspire to reaching a state-title game and, this time, closing it out with a victory.
