What is your favorite football memory at Crockett?
My favorite memory would have to be my freshman year. My brother was on varsity, and they beat Travis to become bi-district champions.
With so much attention paid to head injuries these days, do you worry about your long-term health?
I’m not really that worried about my long-term health. I believe that I should just do what I love and whatever happens to me in the future is fate.
Has football taught you any lessons you apply to daily life?
Football has taught me many lessons I use in daily life, such as being on time, showing all people respect by saying. ‘Yes, sir, no, sir. Yes, ma’am, no ma’am.’ Things like that.
Which of your high school classes will benefit you the most after you graduate?
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) has taught me so much about how college will be, and I think that will help me most after I graduate.
If you could invite any four people in the history of the world to dinner, who would they be?
I would invite Kate Upton to have dinner with me four times in four different places because she’s my dream girl.
If you had the choice of being valedictorian of your class or all-state in football, which would you choose?
I’m ranked in the top seven percent and being valedictorian would be great. However, I love football and being all-state in Texas really shows true football talent.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I personally don’t have any pre-game rituals, but as a team we say the Nebraska chant every game.
What are your college plans?
I am going to college, and I really want football to be included. At the moment I have talked to Midwestern State and Southwestern about playing football there. I would love to play and attend either one of those schools.
Tell me something about yourself that most people don’t know.
Most people don’t know that last year as a junior I made first-team all-district in baseball as an outfielder.
If you could attend any sporting event in the world, what would it be?
After playing for the USA national team this summer, it made me really interested in attending a European football game to see the different competition level there.
What is your favorite food?
My stepmom makes chicken and rice with mushroom sauce, which is my favorite food hands-down.
Outside of the Crockett Cougars, what is the coolest high school mascot in Central Texas?
The coolest mascot aside from the Crockett Cougars would have to be at my girlfriend’s school, (home of) the Vandegrift Vipers.
