The Austin area foursome that attempted to break the Guinness World Record for “Most Golf Holes Played By a Fourball in 24 Hours in a Cart” on Monday deserve a day off.
At 12:24 a.m. Tuesday morning — after 18 hours, nine minutes and 37 seconds of play — First Tee of Greater Austin executive director Jennifer MacCurrach, UT Golf Club assistant professional Bryan Brenner, The Hills Country Club golf director Aaron Chilek, and Barton Creek Country Club director Mike Sizemore played their 235th hole without stopping.
