Former Longhorns standout Jordan Spieth is tied for the overnight lead for the first time on the PGA Tour, at 7-under par in the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club just outside of Washington D.C.
Spieth shot an impressive bogey-free 5-under 66 in Friday’s second round, including five front-nine birdies on the challenging par-71 layout, and shares the lead with Tour sophomore Roberto Castro.
