Jordan Spieth missed the cut on Friday at the U.S. Open in Armore, Pa., after a second-round 6-over-par 76 placed him at 13 over par and in 124th place at day’s end on Friday. Darkness overtook Merion Golf Club before all of the players could finish.
Playing in his second U.S. Open after gaining low amateur honors last year at Olympic Club in San Francisco, Spieth will nevertheless take lessons from this unique experience at Merion.
