The Atlanta Falcons lost two starters — defensive end Kroy Biermann (right Achilles tendon) and fullback Bradie Ewing (separated left shoulder) — to season-ending injuries in Sunday’s 31-24 win over the Rams.
Coach Mike Smith said the loss of Biermann will lead to expanded roles for defensive ends Jonathan Massaquoi and rookie Malliciah Goodman. Ewing’s injury should lead to more playing time for Jason Snelling.
