Because Texas was Texas and Kansas was Kansas. The Longhorns didn’t dominate, despite the lopsided final score, but they weren’t really challenged, either. Case McCoy had an off day, with no touchdowns and two interceptions, and Johnathan Gray lacked a spark. But Malcolm Brown (119 yards, 4 touchdowns) and another strong showing by Greg Robinson’s defense were all the Longhorns needed.
