Brown publicly has pointed to 2013 as the season Texas returns to BCS prominence. For fans, in various degrees of distress/anger after watching the Longhorns post a 22-16 record their past three seasons — including three straight losses to arch-rival Oklahoma by a combined score of 146-58 — it can’t come soon enough.
