Zeke Riser readily acknowledges time is running out on his career as a college football player, and that he thinks he can spend his one remaining season as a productive member of the Texas Longhorns.
Riser, who graduated from the University of Houston in December, played three seasons and started 27 career games as a defensive end for the Cougars (he redshirted in 2010 with a knee injury). He confirmed Wednesday he’ll play for Texas in 2013 as a walk-on while working on a master’s degree in sports management.
