While I got ya, here are nine things and one crazy prediction:
1. Mack Brown isn’t planning on going anywhere anytime soon. It’s even conceivable that the head football coach, approaching his 16th season at Texas, could complete the entire term of his contract, which runs through 2020 — that is, if things go well on the field and he, uh, stays within a touchdown or two of Oklahoma. One thing is perfectly clear: He does not want to be athletic director. And if the vibes are correct, both President Bill Powers and Athletic Director DeLoss Dodds would love to stick around much, much longer as well.
