1. Expecting big things out of Texas’ running game and wide receivers, but still have major doubts about the quarterback position and the front seven of the defense. Defensive coordinator Manny Diaz said Saturday that the team has made big upgrades at linebacker and safety, but I see problems up front, especially at tackle. Impressed with Bryant Jackson’s hands and Kendall Sanders’ quicks and cornerback Sheroid Evans’ athleticism.
