While I got ya, here are nine things and one crazy prediction:
1. A few observations: Why does it seem just three weeks into the season that Alabama and Oregon are clearly the two best teams in college football and the next nine weeks will only be window dressing? Maybe because they are. The Alabama-Texas A&M showdown was one of the best sporting environments I’ve attended. … I can still see the Aggies run the table, but I bet they lose at LSU. As good as Johnny Manziel is, he has to play almost perfectly to beat a team as good as Bama. … Is it just me or does it seem officiating has been really bad? The Pac-12 officials seemed to mishandle the ending of the Wisconsin-Arizona State game and had to sort through a confusing situation in which it didn’t appear clear that the Badgers’ quarterback ever took a knee before laying the ball on the ground. Maybe I should ask Bob Stoops’ opinion.
