Miami is back … kinda, sorta. The Hurricanes, dogged by NCAA problems in recent years, scored their biggest victory in a decade, 21-16 over 12th-ranked Florida. Clearly, people were sleeping on the unranked Canes, who returned 19 starters, including a top quarterback and running back.
But Saturday’s result was deceptive. Florida dominated just about every statistic - 413 yards to 212; 22 first downs to 10; 38:20 possession to 21:40 - but one. Turnovers. The Gators gave it away five times, three inside the red zone.
