Point guard Krystle Henderson, who helped Trinity Valley win its second consecutive National Junior College Athletic Association women’s basketball championship in March, has committed to Texas.
The 5-foot-5-inch Henderson announced her decision on Twitter, saying she will sign with the Longhorns on Sunday. A McDonald’s All-American at Dallas Skyline, Henderson signed with Wichita State out of high school. She played there for one season before transferring to Trinity Valley.
