Texas struggled to score against the Texas Tech pitchers all weekend, and the Longhorns once again couldn’t find their way at the plate in Sunday’s 4-2 loss at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
Entering the weekend having averaged nearly six runs a game during a five-game win streak, Texas (12-7, 1-2 Big 12) scored a total of four runs while losing two of three. As the Horns now look forward to a long road trip, the lack of offense is second to none on the list of improvements Augie Garrido’s team needs.
